Level 1 DWI Class

The One-Day program combines aspects of alcohol education, cognitive therapy, self-assessment and a victim impact panel.

The goal is to provide a timely and consistent response to prevent repeat offenses for the first-time DWI offender in Dakota County.

Level 1 DWI Class (10 Hours)

  • 1st Saturday of the month
  • 1st DWI only
  • .15 or lower BAC

Includes: Lectures on Brian Chemistry of Addiction, Cognitive Behavioral Management, Stress Reduction/ Management, DWI Laws and Consequences, and a Victim Impact Panel.

 

Level 2 DWI Class (12 Hours)

  • 3rd Saturday of the month
  • 2nd DWI offense or higher than .16 BAC

Includes: Lectures on Brian Chemistry of Addiction, Cognitive Behavioral Management, Stress Reduction/ Management, DWI Laws and Consequences, personal harmful consequences and a Victim Impact Panel.

 

Health Insurance does not cover these programs.
