The Discovery Program is designed to provide education about the effects of drug and alcohol use.
This program will help meet the unique needs of each individual by offering learning opportunities on the brain chemistry of addiction, how stress impacts choice, how to better manage life stressors, and how to share with others and gain support in a group environment. The program will encourage reflection on an individual’s harmful consequences and how to make different choices regarding substance use. Referrals for additional support are given if needed.
New Discovery Programs will start on the 1st Wednesday of every month. Clients will attend 4 consecutive Wednesdays and experience group dynamics in addition to educational components.
The cost of the program is $250.
River Ridge does not accept personal checks. Payment can be made by cash, credit card, money order, or cashier’s check.

You do need a current substance use disorder/ rule 25 assessment to participate in this class.
Health Insurance does not cover these programs.
